As suppliers of flower bulbs, we do the following:

First, we will sell you only the largest bulbs. The reason for wanting bulbs in their largest form is that, because they are more mature, they contain the most “food” and will provide the largest bloom.
Second, we price everything fairly. The fact is that bulb prices are almost irrational. And since companies are not telling you accurately what size or quality they are selling, it is difficult for you to compare prices.
Third, all orders will be shipped at the correct time for planting. Clear instructions for planting and care are included.
Finally, we will take care of you, our customer. We know that there is only one way we can continue in business and that is to make you happier dealing with us than anyone else. We guarantee to replace free-of-charge any bulb which does not grow to perfection under ordinary care.

A WORD ON BULB-SIZE

At Fluwel, we pay a lot of attention to obtaining large bulbs. Why go through the trouble of planting, only to spoil the end effect by using smaller bulbs? Your savings will be negligible and much of your time spent digging will seem wasted. Larger bulbs simply produce superior plants with more impressive flowers.

Bulb size is measured by circumference in centimeters. When you see a tulip variety listed as size 12cm+ it means that the bulbs won’t fit through a hole less than 12cm around (incidentally, this is generally the largest size for tulips).

Here is a tool most Dutch bulb growers use. Its holes allow one to measure the size of the bulbs in an instant.
